Perfect visual acuity is normally classified as 20/20, but Custom LASIK procedures can now improve visual acuity to levels as sharp as 20/8. How Does it Work?

Wavefront LASIK surgery uses computer-guided technology to take measurements of your eye’s unique signature or “fingerprint”. After this map is created, it serves as the guide for the laser in re-shaping the cornea. People with mild to moderate myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism are generally the best candidates. Severe cases of these conditions may disqualify you from Custom LASIK surgery, but only your ophthalmologist can ultimately determine this.
